Terms of Use & License

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PhotoEditRocket software and the photoeditrocket.com website ("Service"), operated by the PhotoEditRocket team ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using PhotoEditRocket, you agree to these Terms.

1. License grant

Free / browser use. The web-based version is currently free to use in your browser, subject to these Terms. Free access is provided at our discretion and may change, be limited, or end at any time. The paid product is the optional downloadable offline build.

Lifetime license. Upon purchasing a Lifetime License, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the current version of PhotoEditRocket on your own devices for personal and commercial client work. The license is for one person. You may install it on up to three of your own devices simultaneously.

2. What you may do

You may use PhotoEditRocket to create, edit, and export images for personal projects, client work, commercial projects, and social media content. You may keep and use any outputs (images, graphics) you create with PhotoEditRocket without restriction.

3. What you may not do

You may not: (a) sell, sublicense, redistribute, or transfer the PhotoEditRocket application or your license key to another person; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the software except to the extent permitted by applicable law; (c) use PhotoEditRocket to build a competing product; or (d) share your license key publicly.

4. Updates and future versions

A Lifetime License includes 1 year of free updates from your purchase date. Your purchased build keeps working forever — no kill-switch, no degradation. After that year, you may optionally renew for another year of updates (renewal pricing may change), or keep your current version indefinitely.

5. Refund policy and right of withdrawal

30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. Email support@photoeditrocket.com from your checkout email address within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason.

EU/UK consumers additionally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, which our guarantee does not replace or limit. We do not rely on the digital-content exception that would otherwise extinguish that right on download — refunds are honoured for 30 days whether or not you have already downloaded and activated the software.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use PhotoEditRocket and this website lawfully and in compliance with the laws of your country. We may suspend or revoke a license used in breach of these Terms.

7. Intellectual property & DMCA

The PhotoEditRocket name, logo, and software are our property. You retain all rights to images and content you create with PhotoEditRocket. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to support@photoeditrocket.com. We will respond promptly.

8. Open-source components and font notices

PhotoEditRocket includes open-source libraries and fonts distributed under their respective licenses (MIT, Apache 2.0, SIL Open Font License, etc.). Third-party notices are included in the FONT_NOTICES.md and THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md files distributed with the software.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

PhotoEditRocket is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law (including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and equivalent EU implementing law).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for your license, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the USA. Please email support@photoeditrocket.com first so we can resolve any dispute informally; otherwise disputes go to the courts of the USA, except that EU/UK consumers may use the courts of their country of residence. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer right.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our practices change. We will post the revised Terms with an updated effective date and, for material changes, surface a notice on the homepage for at least 14 days. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookies notice, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding PhotoEditRocket. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
