Refund Policy

1. The short version

If PhotoEditRocket is not right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason. You do not need to justify yourself. We would rather you had your money back than feel stuck with software you do not want.

2. Statutory rights

PhotoEditRocket is not currently available for sale in the EU or UK, so the EU and UK withdrawal rules do not apply to a purchase made here. Wherever you are, nothing on this page limits a consumer right that cannot be excluded by law, and where a statutory right would be more favourable than our guarantee, it applies instead.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@photoeditrocket.com from the address you gave us when you bought the licence, or use our contact form. Include:

• the email address used for the purchase
• your Stripe receipt number or order date (optional, but it speeds things up)
• your license key, if you have it to hand

You do not have to explain why. A one-line message is enough. If you would like to tell us what went wrong we are grateful for it — it is how the product gets better — but it is not a condition of the refund.

4. How long it takes

We aim to process refund requests within 2 business days. Once processed, the money is returned to your original payment method. Card issuers typically take a further 5–10 business days to post the credit to your statement — that part is outside our control.

5. What happens to your license

When a refund is issued, your license to use the paid, downloadable version of PhotoEditRocket ends. We ask that you delete the downloaded application. The free browser version remains available to you, as it is to everyone.

We have no remote kill switch. Nothing we do can stop the application opening, remove a feature, or make one of your files unreadable, and we have not built the ability to. On a timed licence (30 days, 1 year or 5 years) the app does check once at launch whether the term has ended, purely so it can tell you — nothing about the software behaves differently either way, and if that check cannot reach us it changes nothing at all. Whether you hold a licence has no effect on what the software will do for you. It relies entirely on good faith. In our experience, that is not misplaced.

6. Licence terms — nothing renews

Every plan is a single payment: 30 days, 1 year, 5 years, or lifetime. Nothing auto-renews, no card is kept on file, and there is no subscription to cancel. We do not charge you for anything you did not just choose to pay for.

That also means there is nothing to dispute later. The 30-day guarantee covers the purchase you made; there is no second payment behind it to argue about.

When a term ends, nothing happens. The application still opens, your files still open, nothing is deleted, no feature is removed and exports stay clean. PhotoEditRocket simply goes back to being what it is for everyone without a licence: free for personal use. The only thing that ends is permission to use it for commercial work. Anything you already exported stays yours, including work you did commercially during the term.

A Lifetime License has no expiry date. Timed licences (30 days, 1 year, 5 years) can be extended with a separate one-time purchase — the same 30-day guarantee and statutory rights apply to each purchase, from its own date.

7. Who you are buying from

Payments are processed by Stripe, acting as merchant of record for this sale. Stripe handles the transaction, applicable taxes and the refund mechanics. Your refund is initiated by us and returned by Stripe to your original payment method.

8. Chargebacks

Please email us before opening a chargeback with your bank. A refund from us is faster than a chargeback, and it avoids a dispute process that costs us a fee and costs you weeks of waiting. We do not refuse refunds inside the guarantee window.
