This is a browser-based photo and layer editor for common image design work: text blocks, shapes, buttons, masks, layers, resizing, and export.
Free for personal use. This is the complete editor. Every tool, clean exports at full resolution, no watermark, no daily limit and no trial period. You do not need a key and there is nothing to unlock.
A licence covers commercial and client work — work you are paid for, work for an employer or a client, and images that advertise or sell something. The software does not check what you use it for and behaves identically either way; we rely on you to honour it. Privacy-first by design: there is no cloud sync. Your projects, images, masks, edits, and exports stay on your computer unless you personally choose to save, export, or share them.
Open formats: Save Project keeps the full editable document for this app. OpenRaster ORA is the open layered handoff format for apps that support it, and Layered design kit ZIP provides layer PNGs, masks, and PSD-compatible metadata.
Fonts and icons: the bundled fonts are open-source and licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (the OFL text ships in the /fonts folder). Built-in icon presets use common Unicode symbols; custom SVG icons can be pasted in button options.
PSD support: common RGB/8 PSD files open as grouped layers when the browser decoder can read the layer data, with composite fallback for unsupported PSD features. Layered design kit export provides PNG layers, masks, and effect metadata for handoff, but native editable PSD writing is not guaranteed in the browser.
Third-party licences: every third-party component in this app is used under a permissive, commercial-safe open-source license — fonts under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, and libraries (ag-psd, pako, base64-js) under MIT. Inter font — Copyright (c) 2016 The Inter Project Authors. Licensed under the SIL Open Font License v1.1. The reserved font name is "Inter". Original or modified versions of the font may not be sold by themselves; they may be bundled, redistributed, or sold with software provided this notice is included.
Preset design fonts — Bebas Neue, Montserrat, Poppins, Oswald, Anton, Playfair Display, Merriweather, Open Sans, Manrope, Plus Jakarta Sans, League Spartan, Space Grotesk, Cormorant Garamond, Libre Baskerville and Archivo Black are provided by Google Fonts, each © its respective authors and licensed under the SIL Open Font License v1.1 (or the Apache License 2.0). Full license texts are available at fonts.google.com and are included in the /fonts folder when the fonts are bundled for offline use.
System fonts — falls back to the system default UI font on each platform. Not redistributed.
PSD support — powered by ag-psd (MIT, © 2017 Agamnentzar) with base64-js (MIT, © 2014 Jameson Little) and pako (MIT, © 2014–2017 Vitaly Puzrin & Andrey Tupitsin); full license texts ship in /vendor. Does not include or depend on Adobe(R) Photoshop(R) code.
AI / ML — none. This build contains no machine-learning models and no inference runtime; every tool is deterministic image processing that runs in your browser. Full notices: Third-Party Licenses.

No cloud sync. This editor is designed for privacy and local work. It does not upload your images, projects, layers, masks, text, or exports to a cloud account.
Your images stay on your computer. Editing, masking, resizing, effects, adjustments and exports happen on your own PC, Mac or Linux computer in the browser — the editor has no upload step and no server-side processing. Your licence key stays on this device too: the app works out when a term ends locally rather than asking a server. The one request it makes is for a small version file, so it can tell you when a newer build exists; that request carries a version number and nothing about you.
We aim to collect as little as we can and to give you as much privacy as is practical. Anything the app does send is named on the privacy page.
You control your files. Files are opened from your device and saved/exported only when you choose. Any sharing is up to you.
Local browser storage. The app may remember small local preferences such as recent file names, interface settings, and workspace choices in your browser. This is for convenience and stays on your device.
Enjoy it as you like. Edit freely while keeping your creative work private.
Your commercial licence is active. Use PhotoEditRocket for client work, paid projects and anything your business ships — and the version you own keeps working.
